From the West (Massachusetts Turnpike): Take Exit 18 (Allston/Cambridge) toward Cambridge. Take right at first set of lights toward downtown Boston onto Storrow Drive. Continue for one mile and take first exit at Boston University onto Commonwealth Avenue (one-way). Take left at second set of lights (St. Paul Street). Continue for six blocks and take left at second set of lights onto Beacon Street (Holiday Inn on left). Take first right onto Kent Street. Parsons Field is 2/10 of a mile on the right.

From the South & West (128/95): Take Exit 20A, Route 9 East. Continue for five miles (10 lights) and take left onto Brookline Avenue toward hospitals and Kenmore Square. Take second left onto Aspinwall Avenue. At first set of lights take right onto Kent Street. Parsons Field is immediately on left.

From the North (93 & 95 across Tobin Bridge): Take Exit 26 (Storrow Drive) and follow signs for Storrow Drive West. Take Kenmore Square exit. Take first right off exit onto Beacon Street, staying in middle lane. Do not bear right onto Commonwealth Avenue to Boston University or take left onto Brookline Avenue. Continue on Beacon Street for one mile and take left onto Kent Street (before Holiday Inn). Parsons Field is 2/10 of a mile on the right.

Public Transportation: Take the "D" car of the Green Line to Longwood. Exit train, take a left up the hill to Longwood Ave. Take a right onto Longwood and then first left onto Kent Street. Parsons Field is ahead, one-tenth of a mile on the right.

By Bus From the West (Massachusetts Turnpike): Take Exit 14, Route 128/95 South. Take Exit 20A, Route 9 East. Continue for five miles (10 lights) and take left onto Brookline Avenue toward hospitals and Kenmore Square. Take second left onto Aspinwall Avenue. At first set of lights take right onto Kent Street. Parsons Field is immediately on left.

From the South & West (128/95): Take 128/95 to Route 93. Take Mass. Ave exit and take right at lights onto Mass. Ave. Follow Mass. Ave about two miles (seven sets of lights) to St. Botolph Street. Take left and the Arena is directly on your left.

From the North (93 & 95 across Tobin Bridge): Take Exit 26 (Storrow Drive) and follow signs for Storrow Drive West. Take Fenway exit and follow signs for Boylston Street Inbound by bearing left at the first set of lights (do not continue straight off the exit toward Fenway Park). Continue to Boylston Street and take a right onto Mass. Ave. Follow Mass. Ave. and take second right past Symphony Hall onto St. Botolph Street. Arena is on your left.

Public Transportation: Take the "E" car of the Green Line to the Symphony stop or the Orange Line to the Massachusetts Avenue stop. Via the Green Line, exit the Symphony station and walk up Mass. Ave, away from Symphony Hall. Take a right onto St. Botolph Street, Arena is on the left. From the Orange Line, exit the Mass. Ave. station onto Mass. Ave. and take a left. Then take first left onto St. Botolph Street and Arena will be on the left.

From the South and West (128/95): Take 128/95 to Route 93. Take Mass. Ave exit and take right onto Mass. Ave. Follow Mass. Ave through seven set of lights until St. Botolph Street. Take left onto St. Botolph and follow to stop sign. Take right onto Gainsborough Street and then a left onto Huntington Avenue. Solomon Court at Cabot Center is on the left at corner of Huntington Avenue and Forsyth Street.

From the North (93 & 95 across Tobin Bridge): Take exit 26 (Storrow Drive) and follow signs for Storrow Drive. Take Fenway exit and proceed straight off exit ramp (follow signs for Boylston Street Inbound, do not bear right) and continue through three sets of lights to Mass. Ave. Take right onto Mass. Ave. and proceed to Huntington Avenue (right after Symphony Hall). Take right onto Huntington and Solomon Court at Cabot Center is on the left at the corners of Huntington and Forsyth Street.

Public Transportation: Take the "E" car of the Green Line to Northeastern stop. Solomon Court at Cabot Center is across Huntington Avenue from the stop.

Going North on Route 128/95:
Take exit 17 (Route 135). Turn left onto Common Street (Route 135) and follow 1.5 miles to track, which will be on the right.

Going East on Mass. Turnpike:
Take exit 14 (Route 128/95) following the sign for Route 128/95 South after leaving the toll booth. Proceed south on Route 128/95 according to above directions.

Going West on Mass. Turnpike:

From the South & West (128/95): Take 128/95 to Route 93. Take Mass. Ave exit. Follow signs for Mass. Ave. but do not make right onto Mass. Ave at the light by Boston University Medical Center (on the right). Instead continue straight onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. Take Melnea Cass to the end and then turn left onto Tremont Street. The Center is two tenths of a mile ahead on the left, just past the new Boston Police headquarters.

Where to watch NU races on the Charles River:
The finish line: Located across the street from the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 575 Memorial Drive on the Cambridge side shore of the Charles River.

The MIT Boathouse: Sitting at the 3/4 mark of the race on the Charles River is the MIT Boathouse. The boathouse is at the 1500-meter mark and allows a perfect sight of the boats coming under the Massachusetts Avenue (Harvard) Bridge, as they pass 1500 meters and proceed over the final 500 meters to the finish line.

The Massachusetts Avenue (Harvard) Bridge: At the midway point of the race, the boats cross underneath the Mass. Ave. Bridge. Spectators can stand safely on the bridge, located where Mass. Ave. crosses over the Charles River at the 1000-meter mark, and have an overview of the entire race.


Directions
The Henderson Boathouse is located on Soldiers Field Road in Allston.

From the NU campus: Take Forsyth Street to Hemenway Street. Take a right on Hemenway to the traffic light. At the light take a left into Fenway. Follow Fenway around to Boylston Street. Take a left on Boylston, then follow signs for Storrow Drive.

From the West (Mass. Turnpike): Take exit 18 off turnpike. Upon exiting the tollbooth, follow sign toward Cambridge. Get in the left lane at the first set of lights. Take your first left onto Storrow Drive/Soldiers Field Road.

From the North/South (I-93): Take the Storrow Drive exit off I-93. Follow Storrow Drive West.

From Storrow Drive/Soldiers Field Road: Just after the Harvard Square exit, get in one of the left lanes. Prepare to follow the road to the left at the split (toward Newton). The boathouse is on the right just past the Days Inn Hotel (which is on the left).

Parking: Use the public parking lot across from the Days Inn (accessible by taking a right at the lights) and park at the far end of the lot. The boathouse is just beyond the parking lot.


Franklin Park

From Storrow Drive: Take the Fenway exit to Route 1 south; follow Route 1 to Route 203 East, following signs for the Franklin Park Zoo. Cross country course is on the left before the zoo.

From Route 128 North or South: Take exit 15A (Dedham Exit) to Route 1A. Stay on Route 1 (approximately four miles) until it becomes the VFW Parkway. Continue on the VFW Parkway, approximately three miles, until it ends. Take a left on Centre Street. At the rotary take 203 East onto the Arborway. Pass the Arnold Arboretum and keep left to go on overpass. At next rotary, go (two-thirds) three-quarters of the way around and follow Zoo signs. Cross country course is on the left before the zoo.

From the North: Take I-93 South to Exit 15, Columbia Road. At the end of ramp take a right onto Columbia Road. At the third light, Columbia Road turns left. Continue on Columbia Road through nine more lights. Go straight across Blue Hill Avenue. Entrance into the zoo is on your right. Pass the zoo, cross country course is on the right.

From the South: Take I-93 North to Exit 15, Columbia Road. Take a right at the end of the ramp. Go up and around the rotary and then come back in order to head in the correct direction on Columbia Road. At the third light, Columbia Road turns left. Continue on Columbia Road through nine more lights. Go straight across Blue Hill Avenue. Entrance into the zoo is on your right. Pass the zoo, cross country course is on the right.

From Route 9: Take Route 1 (the Jamaicaway) south. Follow Route 1 to Route 203 East; stay in the left lane and go over the overpass. At the next rotary follow signs for the Franklin Park Zoo.

Renaissance Parking Garage

From the North: (via I-93 or Route 1) Take the Storrow Drive exit, and proceed to the Fenway exit. Follow signs for Boylston Street inbound, and bear right onto Westland Avenue. Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue, proceed to the third traffic light, and turn right onto Columbus Avenue. The Renaissance Parking Garage is at 835 Columbus Ave.

From the West (Mass. Turnpike): Take turnpike East to Exit 22 (Copley Square), and bear right. Proceed to the first traffic light, and turn right onto Dartmouth Street. Take the next right onto Columbus Avenue. The Renaissance Parking Garage is at 835 Columbus Ave.

From the South: Take I-93 North to Exit 18 (Massachusetts Avenue), and proceed onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. Continue for approximately two miles, and turn left onto Columbus Avenue. The Renaissance Parking Garage is at 835 Columbus Ave.

Via public transportation: Northeastern is accessible by subway via the Green Line of the MBTA. From downtown Boston, take an "E" train outbound to the Northeastern stop, the first stop above ground. The campus can also be reached from downtown via the Orange Line by taking any train going outbound to Forest Hills and getting off at Ruggles Station. Commuter rail lines connect with the Orange Line at Back Bay Station and North Station.
