Huskies defeat Dartmouth 172-123 on Senior Day
The swimming and diving team won its third consecutive meet Saturday, easily dispatching Dartmouth on Senior Day 172-123. Seven seniors were honored before the meet, including captains Jaclyn Dalessandro and Katherine Fugge, along with Alexis Kalevich, Victoria Kalevich, Alicia Negrotti, Natalia Snegour and Emily Sutliff. The swimming and diving team will head to Harvard on Friday, Feb. 12 in what will be its final regular season meet of the year.

Northeastern named as Fall 2009 NCAA Scholar All-Americans
The swimming and diving team has been named one of the NCAA Scholar All-American programs for the Fall 2009 semester. The team’s cumulative 3.23 GPA ranks 66th among all Division I programs and second in the CAA behind Towson. The Huskies next meet is Saturday at home versus Dartmouth at noon in the Barletta Natatorium.

Peterson named CAA Women's Diver of the Week
Sophomore diver Rachael Peterson has been named CAA Women’s Diver of the Week after sweeping both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives against Siena on Saturday Jan. 30. She claimed the 1-meter dive with a score of 235.40 and the 3-meter dive with a total of 251.55.

Huskies swim past Siena 187-110
The swimming & diving team knocked off Siena 187-110 Saturday in Loudonville, N.Y. Nine different Huskies won events over the Saints, including diver Rachael Peterson, who won both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Northeastern also won both relay races, taking the 400 medley and 200 freestyle. The Huskies improve to 6-5 on the season and will host Dartmouth next Saturday on Senior Day at Barletta Natatorium.

Peterson named Student-Athlete of the week
Sophomore diver Rachael Peterson has been named Northeastern Student-Athlete of the week after her winning 1-meter dive (270.37) against Vermont Saturday Jan. 23 qualified her for the NCAA Zone A Championships. Peterson also took the 3-meter title as well with a score of 246.90.
