Huskies fall to UNH, 170-130
Freshman Kara Lane took first in the 200 fly ( 2:07.51) and grabbed second in the 100 fly (58.90). Junior Sarah Reddick edged Lane in the 100 (58.14), for another NU first place finish.
The Huskies cleaned up in the diving competions. Senior Adela Gavozdea finished first in the 3 meter dive (278.30) and second in the 1 meter dive (253.55), while freshman Talisin Polhemus held her own taking second in the 3 meter dive (146.55) and first in the 1 meter dive (272.05).
NU closed out the day with a victory in the 400 freestyle relay (3:44.15). The team consisted of captain Katie Schmaling, junior Sarah Reddick, sophmore Kerby Lewis, and freshman Coryn Voels.
The Huskies host Columbia on Senior Day, Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. at Barletta Natatorium.

Swasey Pool (Durham, N.H.)The women's swimming and diving team was defeated by New Hampshire, 170-130, at Swasey Pool in Durham, N.H., on Monday, January 17. The loss was NU's first in America East competition (3-1) this year and only the second time they have lost to a conference opponent since the beginning of the team's five-consecutive America East championship run in 1999-2000. The team's overall dual meet record is now at 6-2.
