NU finishes second at Husky Invitational

The women's swimming and diving team placed second at the Husky Invitational Oct. 16 in Storrs, Conn.

Connecticut won the meet easily, scoring 610 points. It was followed by Northeastern (338.50), Massachusetts (333), Rhode Island (186.50) and Southern Connecticut (94).

Freshman Kara Lane won the 200 butterfly and finished second in the 100 butterfly, while senior captain Emily Rochefort finished second in the 100 breaststroke. Emily Crookall-Nixon placed second in the 200 backstroke.

Senior co-captain Kristen Kane took second in the 200 IM and 200 breaststroke.

Northeastern's next meet is Saturday, Oct. 30 when Boston University visits the Huskies.
