Northeastern defeats Wagner
NU started off to well. taking the top two places in the 400 yard medley relay. The winning team consisted of senior Emily Rochefort, junior Emily Crookall-Nixon and sophomores Katy Turner and Samantha Hoffmann.
Senior co-captain Katie Schmaling won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:58.68 and junior Sarah Reddick won the 100 freestyle in 54.67 to add another 9 points to NU's total. Crookall-Nixon took first in the 200 backstroke (2:12.04).
Senior Kristen Kane and Rochefort finished one and two in the 200 breaststroke. Schmaling, Reddick, Voels and freshman Emily Ferrier won the 200 freestyle relay to finish the meet.
Wagner's Jess Radka, Katy Driscoll and Eileen Dowd each posted individual wins in the 200 butterfly, 500 freestyle and 200 IM.
The Huskies will take part in a training trip and meet in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from Dec. 28 till Jan. 4. The team's next intercollegiate meet will be at Harvard on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 9 a.m.

Barletta Natatorium (Boston, Mass.)The Huskies swam to victory against Wagner 114-91 Friday evening to remain undefeated in team competition with a record of 6-0. Wagner was dealt its first loss of the season. Freshman Coryn Voels posted two individual victories in the 500 and 1000 freestyles.
