The Northeastern volleyball team lost to America East leading Hofstra 3-1 Saturday afternoon in Hempstead, N.Y.

The Dutchwomen defeated NU for the second time this season to improve to 15-10 overall and a perfect 10-0 in conference play. The Huskies dropped to 15-12 on the season and 8-2 in America East action, with their only two league losses coming against Hofstra.

In the loss, junior Kristin Deatherage was huge for NU as she racked up 22 kills and 18 digs.

Next up for the Dogs is Hartford tomorrow in Connecticut at 1 p.m.
