The Northeastern volleyball team defeated America East foe Hartford 3-0 Sunday afternoon in West Hartford, Conn. In the victory, NU improves to 16-12 on the season and 9-2 in America East action, while the Hawks fall to 6-15 overall and 2-9 in conference play.

The match was all NU as they swept Hartford 15-7, 15-8 and 15-11. Junior Kristin Deatherage led the Husky attack with 11 kills and 14 digs.

Next up for NU is non-conference opponent Brown Thursday night in Cabot Gym at 7 p.m.
