The Northeastern volleyball team defeated America East opponent Delaware 3-2 on Saturday night at Barbara Viera Court in Newark, Del.

After winning the first two games, the Huskies let the Blue Hens get back into the match by winning the next two games. Delaware led 7-6 in the fifth and decisive game before NU tied it up 7-7 and never looked back winning the final game 15-13.

Junior Kristin Deatherage led the NU assault with 22 kills while senior Suzana Stojakovic chipped in with 6 kills, 62 assists and 14 digs.

Next up for NU is its regular season finale versus Towson tomorrow at 1 p.m.
