In their final match of the Cornell Invitational, the Huskies defeated Kent State 3-1 for their second straight victory.

The Golden Flashes got out to and early one game lead (15-6), but the Huskies then responded by winning the next three (15-11, 15-5, 15-11) to take the match.

For the second straight match, setter Suzana Stojakovic recorded 45 assists. Her efforts did not go unnoticed as she was voted to the 2000 Cornell Invitational All-Tournament Team.
