PHILADELPHIA - The Northeastern volleyball team lost to Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon in the Huskies' final match of the 2001 Penn Invitational.
In the loss Kristin Deatherage recorded her fourth-straight double-digit kills performance as she tallied 18 on the match and 22 digs. Deatherage was the leader on defense, but Kelly Cognac chipped in with 17 digs of her own.
Gianina Pellegrini added 12 kills, while Kristin Ursillo had 50 assists.
NU dropped to 6-5 on the loss, while Penn improved to 4-3. Next up for the Huskies is Brown on Friday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. That game marks the first of three for NU on the weekend as part of the UConn Invitational.
