BOSTON - The Northeastern volleyball team defeated non-conference foe Harvard 3-0 on Tuesday night at Solomon Court.

NU was led by Kristin Deatherage with 12 kills, which marked her fifth straight match with double-digit kills. Gianina Pellegrini also chipped in with 10 kills.

The Huskies made short work of the Crimson as they swept Harvard by outshooting them .239 to .145.

Leading the way for Harvard was freshman Kaego Ogbechie as she tallied 15 kills with just five errors on 24 attacks for a hitting percentage of .417.

Next up for NU is the UConn Invitation on Sept. Sept. 28-29. The Huskies kick off the tourney against Brown on Friday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.
