CHESTNUT HILL, MA - The Northeastern University volleyball team snapped its six-match win streak on Wednesday night as the Huskies lost 3-1 to non-conference opponent Boston College at Power Gym.
Despite taking game one 30-25, the Huskies dropped the next three games (30-27, 30-22 and 30-25) to lose the match to the Eagles.
Erin Spangler led the Husky offense as she tallied 17 kills on 29 attacks with just two errors for a .517 hitting percentage on the match. Kristin Deatherage also continued her offensive on-slaught as she had 13 kills.
Kristin Ursillo recorded the only double-double of the match as she had 45 assists and 15 digs.
Northeastern falls to 15-7 on the season, while BC improves to 14-7 overall. NU next takes on America East foe Drexel on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Solomon Court.
