PROVIDENCE, RI - In a tough fought battle, the Northeastern volleyball team defeated non-conference foe Providence 3-0 (30-21, 35-33, 32-30) on Tuesday night at Peterson Recreational Center in Rhode Island.
Leading the way for the Huskies was Lindsay Wagner, who recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 13 digs. Kristin Deatherage also racked up 12 kills, while Kristin Ursillo had 34 assists and 10 digs.
The Huskies have now won four straight matches and 12 straight games. Next up for NU is Robert Morris on Friday as part of the Penn Invitation in Pennsylvania at 1 p.m.
