Nichols holds a 166-115 overall record in his nine-year tenure at Northeastern and a 43-21 overall record in the CAA. Before NU joined the CAA, Nichols made the program to one of tops in the America East conference, leading the team to a postseason appearance every season including a NCAA Tournament berth in 2001 after the Huskies won the America East Tournament.

Northeastern will continue its journey for the CAA crown when it takes on either the fourth-seed William & Mary or the fifth-seed Hofstra at the CAA Semifinals Sunday night at 4 p.m. at Solomon Court.
