Women's basketball announces 2009-10 television schedule

Northeastern will appear on television four times during the 2009-10 season the conference announced Tuesday at CAA Basketball Media Day at the ESPN Zone in Washington, D.C. The Huskies season opener against defending national champion Connecticut on Nov. 14 will be broadcast on Connecticut Public Television at 2 p.m. On Sunday, December 13 Northeastern takes on Hartford at 2 p.m. on Connecticut Sports Network. A road contest against Towson can be seen on the Comcast Network/Comcast Sports New England on February 7 at 12 p.m. while a tilt at Hofstra will be aired on Verizon FiOS1 Sports New York on February 28.

Northeastern returns 11 letterwinners and three starters from last season's squad that advanced to the CAA quarterfinals. Including second-leading scorer Kim Carr, leading rebounder Kendra Walton and CAA All-Rookie selection Brittany Wilson.
