PHILADELPHIA —Senior guard Tesha Tinsley poured in a game-high 32 points, scoring 26 points in the second half alone to lead Northeastern back from a 10-point halftime deficit and post an 11-point America East Conference victory over Drexel at the Physical Education Athletic Center. Tinsley, who recently became the Huskies’ all-time leading scorer, shot 11-for-19 from the floor and 8-for-9 from the foul line. She also handed out five assists. Drexel (8-11, 4-5) took a 32-22 lead into the locker room at the half thanks in part to Mikki Miller who scored 12 of her team-high 15 points before intermission. Northeastern (11-8, 6-3) countered with an 8-0 run to begin the second half and iced the game with a 15-5 advantage over the final 3:35. Sophomore forward Meghan McIntyre contributed 13 points and freshman guard Steph added 11 points and five assists for the Dragons. Junior center Lani Lawrence was the only other Northeastern player in double figures, scoring 10 points.
