Huskies finish 8th at Foot of Charles Regatta

The women’s crew team raced three varsity boats in the 4+ (with coxswain) and two novice boats at the Foot of the Charles Regatta. The race was held on the Charles River, Saturday, Nov. 15. The NU “A” boat finished eighth with a time of 14:44.6, the NU “B” boat finished 14th at 15:00.7 and the NU “C” boat finished 45th at 15:51.3.

In total, 58 boats took part in the race with the Brown “A” boat finishing first at 14:15.5. This event was the last race of the fall season for the women’s crew team.

The NU novice “A” boat finished ninth at 14.41.3 and the NU novice “B” finished 18th at 15:13.7.

Prior to the Foot of the Charles Regatta, the Huskies raced in the 44th Head of the Charles Regatta. In the championship eights race, the Huskies finished with a time of 16:59.902. The London Training Center boat won the race with a time 16:02.507. The highest-placing university boat was the Yale team, which finished third with a time of 16:25.331.
