The event, which will be free of charge, will start at 3 p.m. Leone will take questions from fans who email them to athletics@GoNU.com. Questions will be taken until Thursday morning at 10 a.m.

Tracey Leone named women's soccer head coach
Northeastern University Athletics Director Peter Roby has announced the
hiring of Tracey Leone as the new head women's soccer coach. Leone
comes to Northeastern a proven winner in her 19 years as both a
collegiate and international coach and as a three-time national
champion midfielder at North Carolina. Most recently an assistant coach at Harvard, Leone also spent six seasons as the head coach at Clemson from 1993-99 and led the Tigers to an 89-39-4 record and six consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.

Ed Matz resigns as head coach
Ed Matz, Northeastern’s head women’s soccer
coach, has resigned his position to become the head women’s soccer
coach at Massachusetts. A national search for his replacement will
begin immediately. Matz has served as head women's coach since 1999 and was also head coach of the men's soccer program from 1996-2004. His overall record as a head coach at Northeastern is 182-165-41 (.522).

Soccer America honors Petta
Northeastern freshman forward Devin Petta has been named to the Soccer
America All-Freshman second team, the publication announced Thursday.
The announcement comes shortly after Petta was named the ECAC Rookie of
the Year. She is the only representative from the CAA to be named to the All-Freshman team.

Petta named ECAC Rookie of the Year
Freshman forward Devin Petta has been named Rookie of the Year, the Eastern College Athletic Conference announced this week. It is the second Rookie of the Year award that Petta has received this season, as she was named both Rookie and Player of the Year by the Colonial Athletic Association. Last week, Petta became the first-ever Northeastern player named to the NSCAA's All-America second team.
