| Jade Higgins joins the Northeastern women’s soccer staff as goalkeeper coach in 2008. She graduated from Georgetown last spring and has extensive soccer experience as both a player and coach. She was the director of goalkeepers at Sachems Academy, director of goalkeepers at the Husky Soccer Academy, coached at the SoccerPlus Goalkeeper camp, and coached the goalkeepers at the Reston Football Club. At Georgetown, Higgins had a stellar career as the Hoyas’ starting goalkeeper for four seasons. She set the Hoyas’ career saves record, career shutouts record and tied the single-season record for shutouts. She backstopped a Georgetown defense that set a team record for fewest goals allowed in 2006. Higgins graduated from Georgetown in 2008 with degrees in Marketing and Management. Next spring, Higgins will be the operations manager for the Boston Breakers.
