2009-10: Clocked in 19:44 for 123rd at New England Cross Country Championship (5K)…Earned 47th place after finishing the James Madison Invitational in 21:15.40…Crossed the line in 20:51.65 at the Bryant Invitational (5K) for a 23rd-place finish to initiate the cross country season.
2008-09: In her only race of the year, placed fourth in the 800-meter in a time of 2:23.29 at the Husky Winter Carnival.
2007-08: During the cross country season, placed 89th with a time of 22:26 at the Boston College Invitational...finished 44th at the Quinnipiac Invitational with a time of 22:08...opened the indoor season with a 16th-place finish in the 800 (2:25.80) at the Husky Winter Carnival...took 28th in the 1000 (3:08.06) at the Valentine's Invitational...outdoors, placed third in the 800 (2:26.70) at the Husky Spring Open...ran on the runner-up 4x800 relay (9:09.68) at the Florida State Relays...took 14th in the 800 in a season-best 2:21.25 at the CAA Championship...took 17th in the 400 in 1:02.21 at the Patriot Open Invitational.
High School: Competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track for four years...served as captain in each sport her senior year...All-Conference three times in cross country...named Merrimack Valley Conference MVP for Haverhill High...set school record in 1000-meter (3:00.45)...member of cross country MVC champ in 2005 and ’06...Finished third at the Division I Championship and fourth at the All-State meet in 2007.
Personal: Born April 17, 1989...majoring in Criminal Justice...father, Tom Mortimer, was an All-American middle distance runner for Northeastern and was inducted to the NU Hall of Fame in 1997...Class of 2012.
